Female infertility can be termed as the inability of the female to conceive in spite of trying for more than 6 months to 1 year. It is a disorder that affects several females world over but it is more prevalent in women above the age of 35.
Though there are several reasons for female infertility but the most common are hormonal imbalance, hereditary complications in pregnancy, problems in ovulation, damage to the uterus, and problems with the cervix.

Women above the age of 35 are advised to follow a regulated diet and not indulge in late-night partying or binge drinking of alcohol. It is found that alcohol is singularly responsible for not only female infertility but male infertility as well. It is known to reduce the sperm count in the body and therefore, should be avoided at best. Regular consumption of alcohol can cause other disorders including obesity, cancer, hormonal imbalances, and depression.
